How to Join a Club on ClubGG (Club IDs, Codes and Fixes)
To join a club on ClubGG, open the app, choose the option to join a club, enter the club's numeric Club ID (and a referral ID if the club asks for one), and send the request. The club owner or an agent then approves you, and your agent loads chips once you've arranged payment. The whole process takes a few minutes if you have the right ClubGG club ID.
This guide walks through every step on phone and desktop, explains where Club IDs and club codes come from, and fixes the problems that trip most people up. If you haven't installed the app yet, start with our ClubGG download guide. For the bigger picture, see the ClubGG complete guide.
What is a ClubGG club ID?
A Club ID is the number that identifies a specific club on ClubGG. Clubs are private, so you can't browse a public list inside the app — you need the ID to find and request to join one. The clubs we list all use 6-digit IDs.
People also call these "ClubGG club codes." It's the same thing: a numeric ID you type into the app.
Where to find a Club ID
- From the club or an agent. If a friend or agent invited you, they'll send the ID directly.
- From a club directory. Our ClubGG club directory lists every club we've vetted, with its Club ID, union, stakes and rakeback.
- From us directly. Tell us what you like to play on our contact page and we'll match you with a club and send the ID.
Be wary of IDs posted by random accounts on social media. Anyone can create a club, and an unfamiliar ID is no guarantee the club will pay.
How to join a club on ClubGG: step by step
The steps are nearly identical on iPhone, Android and the desktop client. Button names can change between app versions, so look for the option that matches the description if the wording differs slightly.
On iPhone or Android
- Open ClubGG and sign in. Create an account first if you haven't. Use a strong password you don't use anywhere else.
- Find the club section. From the main screen, go to the area that lists your clubs.
- Choose the option to join a club. Look for a join or plus (+) option.
- Enter the Club ID. Type the numeric ID exactly as given, with no spaces.
- Enter a referral ID if asked. Some clubs require an agent's referral ID. If the club you chose doesn't need one, leave it blank.
- Send the request. The club now appears as pending until it's approved.
- Wait for approval. You'll see the club in your list once you've been accepted.
On Windows or Mac
- Open the desktop client you downloaded from the official ClubGG website, and log in with the same account you use on your phone.
- Go to the clubs area of the lobby.
- Select the option to join a club and enter the Club ID.
- Add the referral ID if the club requires one.
- Submit and wait for approval.
Your account and clubs are shared across devices, so a club you join on your phone will also show up on desktop.
Using a referral ID
A referral ID links your account to a specific agent in the club. That agent is the person who will send you chips, handle your cashouts and pay your rakeback. Referral IDs look like 7781-5006.
Of the clubs we list, only one requires it:
- Sweet Holdem Alabama (Club ID 477637) — referral ID 7781-5006
Our other clubs need no referral ID. For more on why some clubs use them and what happens if you skip one, read our ClubGG referral ID guide.
Waiting for approval
After you send a request, the club owner or an agent has to accept it. Many clubs approve quickly during busy hours. It can take longer late at night, on weekends, or if the club wants to confirm who you are before letting you sit.
Some clubs will message you, or ask the agent to contact you, before approving. That's normal and generally a good sign — it means someone is paying attention to who's at the tables.
If you've been pending for a long time, contact the club or agent who gave you the ID rather than sending repeated requests.
Getting chips from your agent
Joining a club doesn't put chips in your account. ClubGG itself does not sell real-money chips or pay out winnings. Chips come from the club's agent, who settles money with you off the app.
Once you're approved:
- Contact your agent. If you used a referral ID, that agent is your contact. Otherwise, the club will tell you who to message.
- Agree on a payment method. Common options include Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal, Apple Pay and crypto, but it varies by club.
- Confirm the details. Ask about minimums, cashout timing, weekly settlement and how rakeback is paid.
- Send payment and receive chips. The agent sends chips to your account in that club.
Start small, and request a small cashout early to see how the club handles it. Remember that there's no regulator or insurance behind club games, so a club's track record matters. Our ClubGG deposit and cash-out guide covers this in detail, and our rakeback guide explains what to ask about returns.
Common problems and how to fix them
"Club not found"
- Check the digits. A single wrong number sends you nowhere. Our IDs are 6 digits.
- Remove spaces. Copying from a message can add a space before or after the number.
- Confirm the ID is current. Clubs occasionally close or move. Check our directory or ask the club for a fresh ID.
Request stuck on pending
- The club may simply not have reviewed it yet. Give it some time.
- Some clubs only approve players who come through an agent. Contact the agent or club directly.
- If a referral ID was required and you left it blank, the club may not know who you belong to. Ask the club whether to re-apply with the referral ID.
Wrong ID or wrong referral code
If you joined the wrong club or used the wrong referral ID, contact the club owner or agent. Agent assignments are managed by the club, so they're the only ones who can fix it. You can also leave a club you joined by mistake.
Region or GPS restrictions
Some unions use GPS and IP restrictions to stop collusion — Massiv, for example, does this. If the app asks for location access, you may need to allow it to sit at certain tables. Using a VPN or blocking location can get you locked out of games or flagged by the club's security checks. If a restriction is blocking you, ask the club rather than trying to work around it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I find a ClubGG club ID?
Club IDs come from the club owner, an agent, or a directory that lists clubs. Our club directory lists the numeric Club ID for every club we work with.
Why does ClubGG say club not found?
Usually the ID was mistyped, copied with an extra space, or the club has changed its ID or closed. Re-enter the digits carefully, and if it still fails, contact the club or message us for a current ID.
How long does it take to get approved for a ClubGG club?
It depends on the club. Many requests are approved within minutes during busy hours, but it can take longer late at night or if the club wants to verify you through an agent first.
Do I need a referral code to join a ClubGG club?
Only some clubs require one. Of our clubs, only Sweet Holdem Alabama uses one (referral ID 7781-5006); the others need none. See our ClubGG referral ID guide.
Can I join more than one club on ClubGG?
Yes, one ClubGG account can be a member of multiple clubs. Each club keeps its own chip balance, so deposits and cashouts are handled separately with each club's agent.
